Up and running in minutes
Install
Download the free plugin, then in WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin and choose the zip. WooCommerce must be active.
Payments
Nothing new to set up: subscriptions use the payment methods in WooCommerce → Settings → Payments. For automatic card renewals, paste your Stripe key there too.
Create a plan
Edit a product, tick “Subscription”, choose monthly or yearly. To sell software, tick “Sell a license” and upload your zip.
Needs WordPress 6.0+, PHP 7.4+ and WooCommerce 8.0+. Works with HPOS and the block checkout.

Questions
Do I need another subscription plugin?
No. Happy Subscription handles subscription products, renewals, emails and the customer’s account pages itself. WooCommerce is the only plugin it needs.
Which payment methods can I use?
All of them. Subscriptions use the payment methods in WooCommerce → Settings → Payments, so adding or changing a provider later just works. Stripe charges each renewal automatically. With any other method (PayPal, bank transfer, a local gateway…) the customer gets a “Pay now” email on each renewal date and pays with any method you offer at that moment.
Can customers cancel by themselves?
Yes, from My Account (you can turn this off). Nothing is charged again, and they keep access until the end of the period they paid for.
I sell plugins. How do license keys work?
Tick “Sell a license” on the product and upload your zip. Each paid order gets a key, customers download from My Account, and your plugin activates the key and gets updates through the built-in license API.
What does Pro add?
Licenses for variable products (for example 1 site, 5 sites and unlimited at different prices), “Ask for price” products with contact page and WhatsApp buttons, and a currency switcher with exchange rates and per-country currencies.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, any time from My Account. Your subscription won’t renew, and your license keeps working until the end of the year you paid for.
Is my data sent anywhere?
Nothing is sent to Laghavi Digital. Payments go only to the payment providers you enable in WooCommerce, and the license API runs on your own site.
